How does Fame work? - Guild Wars Forums

What exactly is fame, and why doesn't mine go up? Do you only get it from Guild PvP? I've been to the Ascalon Arena (no big deal, I know) and fought a lot of PvP. Just yesterday me and a pickup groupu (great group btw) won about 12 missions in a row. Still, no fame.

If someone could let me know what it is I'd be mighty obliged. Oh, and is it really fame? Can other people see how famous I am?

Fight in the tomb of Primeval Kings.

You can only get Fame by winning battles in Tombs, not in Arena battles or GvG battles.

After you get a certain amount of fame, you go up in rank. Think after rank 3 you can use the /fame emote. That's about it though.
